The Suffolk Oxygen Therapy Centre (also trading as the Suffolk MS Therapy Centre) has been operating for over 38 years and was one of the first of its kind specifically designed to offer Oxygen Therapy to people with Multiple Sclerosis. Over the year the charity has grown to support people living with many other conditions – and now undertakes more than 3,000 therapy sessions per year. With three barometric chambers, our current COVID-19 Secure procedures and risk assessment allow us to seat up to 12 people at time.
Located in Great Blakenham just outside Ipswich, in Suffolk, we are a charity and member of the National Federation of MS Therapy Centres. The centre is staffed by fully trained operators and supported by volunteers. We pride ourselves on our friendly and relaxed environment and the positive company we keep here at the centre.
The charity has made a number of alterations to its existing building which has allowed us to start developing a complementary therapy service.
We have a range of power-assisted exercise chairs for the use of our members and a cosy coffee room for socialising while visiting the Centre.
The Centre is funded entirely from donations, grants and fund-raising activities. We receive no statutory/state funding.
